An “Emotional Support” pit bull. Saying “no” to someone who needs a dog on the plane because they get a little anxious on airplanes is what Americans used to support. But today, everyone is competing in the new American Victim Hood Olympics and the madness grows. (I hope that doesn’t change things for my Emotional Support Tiger the next time I fly somewhere.)

Not only that, but did you ever look at the rules and laws if you didn’t want to allow a service animal or emotional support animal onto your premises? Something has got to give. The airport had no choice but to allow the animal onto its premises.
My friend owns a restaurant, and when someone SAYSs their animal is an emotional support animal, he isn’t even allowed to ask to see the papers!

Any animal that is not a true certified service animal should not be allowed to be unconfined for this reason. Actual certified service animals should be allowed to do their job as they are trained to do so. The animal or its breed shouldn’t matter though.

Look, you’ll get sued if you keep the animal out and you’ll be sued if you let the animal in. The ADA all but prohibits enquiring about the “disability”, therefore anybody can declare their animal to be a “service” animal, with no consequences for fraudulently doing so. This is all a bit insane, that somebody can self-identify as “disabled”. If you think you’re disabled, then you are, and all are duty-bound to bow before you or get sued. The consequence of being too loose with animal control is a child being hurt, perhaps grievously. Society has competing interests and that’s the normal state of things. There will be more such incidents and one hopes that our lawmakers will do something about it.
But, they’ve done naught to protect us from lunatics with firearms, so don’t hold your breath.
