Newport Beach, Calif.-based Alliant Insurance Services has named Rob Lane executive vice president at Alliant Specialty.
Lane will provide client advocacy, strategic consulting, and claims resolution services to Alliant’s industry clients across the United States. He is located in Newport Beach.
Lane has more than 25 years of legal and risk management experience as an established claims advisor, specializing in the resolution and recovery of the most demanding insurance claims and resulting in the recovery of over $3 billion in contested insurance coverage for his clients. Prior to joining Alliant, Lane was executive vice president at a global insurance brokerage firm, where he supplemented traditional broker claim services and collaborated with outside counsel to provide clients with an effective and relationship-preserving alternative to costly litigation or arbitration.
Lane earned his law degree, a master’s degree in environmental science, and a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Indiana University.
