PEMCO Mutual Insurance has welcomed Heather Sipes to the Seattle, Washington-based insurer’s marketing communications as a communications manager.
Sipes has more than11 years of experience in marketing communications, most recently serving as managing editor for Inspira Literary Solutions.
Sipes will support the organization’s content marketing and communications strategies, leading daily social planning, posting and community engagement and managing other communications channels.
Tony Fernandez, founder and CEO of Affordable American Insurance, was elected to the Professional Independent Insurance Agents of Colorado Board of Directors.
Fernandez has worked in the insurance industry for 25 years. He started selling insurance in 1996 with a life and health company. After that, he became an American Family agent. In 2004, Fernandez founded AAI.
