EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants Appoints Rosson as Northern California Growth Leader

EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants hired Charlie Rosson as Northern California growth leader.

Rosson spent nearly nine years as Woodruff Sawyer’s CEO and most recently served as the Bay Area practice leader for USI Insurance. Rosson’s insurance background includes employee benefits, property and casualty, risk management, personal lines, 401(k), executive benefits and life insurance, specialty and wholesale.

Lara Makes Reappointments to the CIGA Board of Governors

California Insurance Commissioner Ricardo Lara reappointed several members to the California Insurance Guarantee Association (CIGA) Board of Governors. They were: Richard de la Mora, senior vice president & counsel, head of personal lines at Farmers Group Inc.; Jennifer Schnittjer, vice president and controller for the Automobile Club of Southern California; and Deepika Srivastava, chief operating officer of The Doctors Co.

The board oversees the Guarantee Association’s general operations and management to protect policyholders in the event of an insurance company insolvency. All three members have been reappointed in member insurer representative seats with terms ending Dec. 31, 2027.
