Arizona Gov. Katie Hobbs appointed Maria Ailor as the interim agency director of the Arizona Department of Insurance and Financial Institutions.
Ailor has 30 years of public service experience as an insurance regulator, serving in various supervisory roles, most recently as assistant director of DIFI’s Market Regulation and Consumer Services Division.
Ailor has served on several National Association of Insurance Commissioners’ committees, task forces and working groups.
