HEMIC Insurance Managers is accepting apartment and condominium owner associations (AOAO) applications for hurricane coverage from Hawaii licensed insurance agents.
The Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs announced that the Hawaii Hurricane Relief Fund (HHRF) was reactivated to address the pressing need for hurricane insurance coverage for AOAOs.
The department details the eligibility requirements for hurricane insurance through the HHRF and lists HEMIC Insurance Managers Inc. (HIMI) as one of two servicing facilities. Hawaii-licensed insurance agents can email himiquotes@hemic.com to request applications and initiate the submission process for HHRF coverage.
