The department details the eligibility requirements for hurricane insurance through the HHRF and lists HEMIC Insurance Managers Inc. (HIMI) as one of two servicing facilities. Hawaii-licensed insurance agents can email himiquotes@hemic.com to request applications and initiate the submission process for HHRF coverage.
HIMI is a managing general agency/managing general underwriter that brokers lines of commercial business insurance, offers risk management consulting services, and provides multiline third-party claim administrator services to self-insured and captive entities.
