Forgive me if I\’m wrong, but these new laws are supposed to take the Applicants Attorney \”out-of-play\”, by the employee dealing directly with the Insurance Company to resolve disputes. In my case the IC said \”You have reached MMI and there is nothing more we can do for you.\” Case closed. I went directly to the Safety Director of the Company I worked for and explained, I believe there is something still seriously wrong with me that you\’re conservatively treating Dr.s have missed. His reply, \”I\’m sorry, its arthritis a pre-existing condition, so do what you have to do.\” I was FORCED to hire an Attorney to get the Medical attention I felt I still needed. Enter the Attorney and re-open the W/C case and sure enough after re-evaluation I needed Surgery after 3 months of Conservative treatment with no results. Now I had worked on a knee that needed reconstruction using my hamstring. Not only am I faced with Permanent Impairments I am also faced the paying for an Attorney for getting the Medical attention I should of been entitled to in the first place, without representation. Basically the way I see it is the W/C IC can now say thats that, end of story. If the employee is FORCED to hire representation to get the attention he needs, how many more of me are going to fall through the cracks? Not all employees are going to argue with authority figures (W/C IC Dr.s) I believe this \’new\’ legislation favors Big-Business and turns MO. Injured Workers into disposable. Am I wrong? Please show me the benefits this affords the worker. I worked 4 months on a destroyed leg with no restrictions off and on, throughout this ordeal. Now I will have to live with Permanent Impairment that could of been avoided. Respond and tell me why I\’m wrong.

Bet KNOWKNEES went from a Republican to a Democrat overnight, think? I would like to ask KNOWKNEES while he was being given his Conservative treatment, why he didn\’t ask for an MRI? He did, and it was a the same time he asked for a 2nd opinion and it was denied by a client of E*ANS AND DI*ON, too expensive. So instead of spending say a thousand dollars to find out if there really was a problem or not, we recommended he wear a 100$ brace and return to work no questions ask. KNOWKNEES they (IC) got you the treatment you needed (Even though you had to hire an Attorney) and all was well other than the permanent impairments and loss of dignity in the eyes of his children, huh? Yep the W/C IC Surgeon gave him 3 days post-op to re-coop and get his but back to work. Well how did that go? Not so swell, the Surgeon had to order him a 1200$ custom fit Don-Joy Brace to wear on his right leg. That should of done the trick, huh? Sure did, caused him to put all his weight on his left leg which led to Major Disaster and the need of that leg being reconstructed. This \”return to work\” stuff sure is out to help the employee get his health and wealth back in order ASAP. Sorry, wrong. KNOWKNEES now has to beg to get anything taken care of medically but they make-do on his wifes 10$ an hour job. We\’ve determined we don\’t need this guy after 6 years of service and has become a \’risk\’ so lets FIRE him. No way, he\’ll do something wrong wait and see. Well he asked to go to the Emergency Room for the second injury to the left knee. He gathered Supervisors because KNOWKNEES had a sneaking suspicion something was about to take place and it sure wasn\’t going to be good. Yep, we fired him end of story. Poor KNOWKNEES is now unemployed and permanently Impaired. At least his children are receiving FOOD STAMPS. Now it is our job as DAs to discredit and dig up anything we can in his closet Pre-Employment with this ER, because we sure aren\’t, or never will in the time he served our client and their interest (Legally). This sweeping workers compensation reform will shape our Nation as NEVER seen before.Seperation between church and state or rich and poor? The poor will wake up trust me. Sleep in peace and God-Bless.
    KNOWKNEES.
