If windows xp will no longer be supported, then that means that all schools that still use windows xp will either have to upgrade the computers, get new ones, or (if they don’t have money) the schools may stop having computers. There are a lot of schools that have money troubles. Now, I’m not particularly worried about the end of windows xp because I have Windows 7 (64 bit). BUT! What I would suggest is if people are so worried about viruses getting to XP, then get either ThreatFire or Microsoft Security Essentials and keep upgrading those anti-virus programs. Now, Microsoft Security Essentials is one of the best anti-virus programs out there, and I have it. It will automatically tell me if there is a threat, and then it eliminates the threat. So I reccommend getting that before support for XP ends if you are really worried. And here’s something that I think is kind of funny. I used to have Windows XP Media Center Edition 2002 and I was told that Microsoft stopped supporting that version of Windows XP a while back, though I’m not entirely sure if it was or not. But I had Microsoft Security Essentials on there and I never had problems with viruses. EVER. I disowned the old dinosaur and I got windows 7. So technically, if you have Microsoft Security Essentials, ThreatFire, or any other really good anti-virus program, your windows XP OP should be okay.

    Warnings:

DO NOT under ANY circumstances, get PandaCloud Anti-Virus. I had it before I had Microsoft Security Essentials and let’s just say owning pandacloud resulted in me having to reset my computer to factory settings and I lost everything I ever had. :( But it’s been almost a year since then and I haven’t had any problems since.
