For any property risks outside the insurer’s appetite, the company can offer monoline general liability/auto products. Also provided is a workers’ compensation product for hotels on a monoline basis or in conjunction with the package offering.

Fitness/dance instructor program
Nuts & Bolts: K&K Insurance Group Inc. enhanced its fitness/dance instructor insurance program for instructors and trainers who work on an independent contractor basis, directly supervising an individual or a group engaged in fitness, exercise and dance activities. Rates were lowered up to 28 percent, and additional discounts added for instructors who purchase the two-year coverage option. There are no membership requirements. Coverage is available for certified and non-certified fitness professionals. K&K offers certificates of insurance at no charge; adding facilities as additional insureds to the instructor’s policy is also available at no cost. Eligible instructors include: aerobics, aquatic exercise, boot camp cardio kickboxing, children’s fitness, dance, exercise, gyrotonic outdoor fitness, personal training, pilates, spinning, strength, tai chi and yoga.
