PLUS-Midwest Seminar to Discuss D&O Legal Issues

The Midwest Chapter of PLUS, the Professional Liability Underwriting Society, has organized a seminar on Tuesday, September 17, featuring discussion by experts on current issues concerning Directors & Officer’s Liability Insurance.

The Seminar, entitled “An Analysis of the Marketplace and Current Legal Issues,” will be held between 8:30 and 11:15 a.m. at the Standard Club, 320 South Plymouth Court, Chicago, moderated by Dr. Phillip N. Norton of Arthur J. Gallagher & Co.

Dr. Norton, with over 20 years experience in handling D&O issues, has authored studies on the subject, and is well known as a featured speaker in the U.S and abroad.

Other participants scheduled to participate are:
– Gordon Davenport of the law firm of Foley & Lardner, a specialist in complex commercial litigation and insurance matters, including insurance coverage issues involving D&O claims.
– Delaine A. Fritz, VP for the Management Liability Division of National/Union AIG, who specializes in the underwriting of D&O Liability, Employment Practices Liability and Fiduciary Liability for Public, Private and Non-Profit entities.
– Kenneth J. Stephens, VP, Northern Zone Executive Protection, an expert in executive protection products, including D&O liability, fidelity, fiduciary, employment practices and kidnap and ransom coverage.
– Todd Sutherland, VP and Regional Manager for Kemper Financial Insurance Solutions in Chicago, responsible for the central region’s operations in marketing and underwriting Directors and Officers Liability, Employment Practices Liability, Fiduciary Liability, Fidelity, and Kidnap & Ransom for both commercial clients and financial institutions.
