St. Paul Travelers to Contribute $1M to Katrina Victims

St. Paul Travelers will contribute $1 million to the American Red Cross to fund relief efforts following the devastation caused by Hurricane Katrina. As part of its contribution, the company is facilitating direct contributions to the American Red Cross from its 30,000 employees.

St. Paul Travelers has deployed its Catastrophe Response Team and five Mobile Claim Headquarters to assist its customers affected by Hurricane Katrina in Alabama, Louisiana and Mississippi.

St. Paul Travelers is a provider of commercial property and casualty insurance. Under the Travelers brand, the company is the second largest underwriter of auto and homeowners insurance through independent agents.
