for the amount of snow Wisconsin had, the season was far greater than normal so for the miles ridden, this has to be one of the safest seasons in a long time! It’s too bad the DNR did not sping the positive.
it does not matter for which vehicle you drive, no drinking or driving. in many cases, it probably not near as safe to have a dui snowmobiler hit you than a car. only good news, is possibly you would hit a snowbank. the force of the hit is another story. the rest of the story does not tell us if any of these snowmobilers had an accident with a vehicle or just other snowmobiles. either way its still a risk and should never be taken — drinking and driving. you could be driving that amish vehicle being pulled by a horse. a drinker and driver is not allowed.
DOES NOT MEAN DRUNK.
Semantics at its best out of Wi DNR
If one or two deaths out of 27 is not a ‘drop’.
Even a 55 mph speed limit at night is way too fast. 55 on a snowmobile is flyin’…

Idiocy leads to a lot more crashes. Maybe the comments should have been corrected.

Driving after drinking is legal in all 50 states. At least for now.
Ah, the natural selection process at work. Fact is, the death rate for this dangerous sport has reached homeostasis and isn’t newsworth.
