Michigan-based American Community Mutual Insurance Company, a provider of group and individual health insurance, has introduced its own proprietary medical provider network in Ohio. The company said the American Community Provider Network will save policyholders an average of 5 percent on medical premiums.
Policyholders have access to 82 hospitals and more than 6,400 providers at 10,000 locations throughout Ohio by joining the AC Provider Network.
The AC Provider Network is available on all American Community group and individual health plans that include a PPO network, including: APEP Choices, American’s Omega Solutions, Community Flex, Coverage on Demand, Latitude, Next Generation HSAand Triple Tier.
With beginnings dating back to 1938, American Community Mutual Insurance Company is one of the oldest health insurance companies in the nation.
Based in Livonia, Mich., American Community is currently licensed in 41 states.
