Insurance industry software provider Vertafore has released version 4.0 of its AMS360 management system with advancements that promise to simplify marketing and sales tasks for the more than 2,800 agencies currently using the product.
According to the company, the enhancements in AMS360 version 4.0 allow agencies to:
- Generate enhanced cross-sell opportunities based on coverage–identify coverage gaps, streamline account rounding and market to existing customer base with the ability to pull target lists based on coverage.
- Create professional, polished documents quickly and easily–produce tailored schedules and streamline proposal templates using the Microsoft Office Word interface.
- Group activities by type– enhance workflow with expanded grouping options, such as the ability to group all commission reports within each company by year or group all renewal quotes for any given year within a renewal quote folder.
- Improve performance and scalability– gain technology enhancements with several third-party software updates including an upgrade to Microsoft SQL 2008 and Windows Server 2008, support for Windows 7, Office 2007 and an update to Internet Explorer 8.
“The enhanced sales and marketing capabilities in version 4.0 help agencies more easily cross-market products and remind customers about adding coverage,” said Gytis Barzdukas, vice president, product management for Vertafore Agency Markets.
AMS360 version 4.0 also includes an enhanced web services toolkit, enabling agencies to integrate third party applications with the management system to share data.
