Frisco, Texas-based Skywire Software, which focuses on the insurance and financial services industries, announced it has completed its acquisition of InsBridge. For nearly a decade InsBridge has been providing rating and underwriting applications for the insurance industry.
The company said the addition of InsBridge’s talent and technologies extends Skywire Software’s ability to deliver proven rating and underwriting applications to its existing customers, and combines InsBridge’s suite of products with Skywire Software’s business intelligence and agency management systems.
InsBridge’s customers range from top 100 P/C insurance carriers State Auto Insurance Companies and Ohio Casualty Group to financial leaders like Wells Fargo Insurance. Similar to Skywire Software, InsBridge also serves the managing general agency market.
Skywire Software markets Thazar’s InsSight, a business intelligence system; Policyware, a centralized Web-based agency management system designed for MGA’s and excess and surplus brokers; and financial accounting, enterprise application development and IT outsourcing for insurers.
InsBridge will be Skywire Software’s sixth acquisition in three years and increases its client count to more than 150 customers located in 10 countries.
The purchase price for InsBridge was not disclosed.
