Moody Offers Colorado Roofing Workers’ Comp Program Dividend

Moody Insurance Agency, which specializes in insurance, risk management and bonding services for contractors, has announced a $313,800 dividend — an increase of $99,399 over last year’s dividend — for 19 members of its Colorado Roofing Association Workers’ Compensation Program, offered through Pinnacol Assurance.

The dividend is for the 2003-2004 policy year and is the sixth consecutive annual dividend. Dividends are issued to participating contractor and supplier members of the Colorado Roofing Association Workers’ Compensation Program who meet standards for safety and compliance. Since starting the program in 1998, Moody Insurance has declared more than $2.29 million in dividends for participating program members. The average dividend per member equals 15 percent of the annual insurance premiums.

*Pro-Tech Roofing Systems LLC of Larkspur, Colo.;
*Colorado & Santa Fe Land Co. of Broomfield, Colo.
*Stahl Roofing Inc. of Denver;
*Statewide Wholesale Inc. of Denver;
*D&D Monarch Sheet Metal Inc. of Commerce City, Colo.;
*Summit Roofing Inc. of Telluride, Colo.;
*TL Roofing of Durango, Colo.;
*D&D Roofing Inc. of Commerce City, Colo.;
*US Facilities Management of Broomfield, Colo.;
*Grand County Roofing & Sheet Metal Inc. of Granby, Colo.;
*Weathersure Systems Inc. of Englewood, Colo.; and

“This specialized program gives our members personalized service in loss control and claims management to improve worksite safety,” said Brad Moody, president of Moody Insurance Agency.

Moody Insurance created the successful Colorado Roofing Association Workers’ Compensation Program to take advantage of the preferred pricing offered to association programs by Pinnacol Assurance. The program is offered to contractors who can meet stringent participation criteria. There are currently 30 program members.
