Farmers Opens Servicepoint Center in Oregon

Farmers Insurance Group of Companies announced it is opening a new ServicePoint operations Center in Hillsboro, Ore. The ServicePoint call center will be open by mid-year 2008 and will initially house more than 500 Farmers’ employees.

Farmers has 540 agents, 19 district managers, and approximately 550 agency staff for a total of 1,109 field force employees in Oregon. Coupled with the 709 employees in Oregon, the entire Farmers’ workforce exceeds 1,800.
