Oregon should legally have to take this one step further. Anyone arrested for a crime and found guilty, should be allowed to not have to go to prison for the first four years. They would have to carry a card with them saying they can only do legal activity. Sounds fair to me. Why should non-US citizens get benefits for breaking the law while real US citizens don’t? Does Oregon believe non-US born citizens are better people? I wish someone on their legislation would answer that question for me.
