MMC Capital–private equity firm with over $2 billion of committed capital under management. Also manages the Trident Funds, which make private equity and equity-related investments in the global insurance and financial services industries.

Investment Management
Putnam Investment Trust–manages over 100 mutual funds, has nearly 300 institutional clients and over 12 million individual shareholder accounts. At the end of December 2004, Putnam had $213 billion in assets under management. Includes minority interest in Thomas H. Lee Partners, a private equity investment firm.

Consulting Services
Mercer Inc.–one of the world’s largest consulting firms, provides services on issues that face the managements of enterprises in major global markets. Formed by acquisition of Oliver, Wyman & Co. in 2003; Synhrgy HR Technologies acquired in 2004.
