The California Insurance Professionals (CAIP) will be hosting its annual fundraiser holiday party from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2009, in Los Angeles.
CAIP is an insurance industry organization developed within the greater Southern California insurance community for professionals in all lines of insurance to provide networking while raising funds and awareness for its designated charity, Child SHARE.
Child SHARE was established in 1985 as a foster care and adoption program to address the lack of stable, loving housing for abused and neglected children., according to Jeff Lynn, CAIP board member and senior broker National Umbrella/Excess Practice for Aon Risk Services.
To date, Child SHARE has successfully recruited more than 900 families to provide foster homes, providing stability to more than 2,500 children, according to the organization.
The CAIP holiday party will be held at Takami Sushi & Robata Restaurant at 811 Wilshire Blvd, Suite 2100, Los Angeles, CA 90017. Tickets are $90 at the door.
