Nuts & Bolts: Confluent Insurance is offering a workers’ comp program on a “Pay-As-You-Go” program that calculates premium each time an employer issues payroll. Effectively the workers’ comp insurance becomes part of the weekly, bi-weekly, monthly payroll. The program allows independent agents to compete with payroll companies entering the market. Program is on a brokerage basis.
