National Union Fire Ins. Co. of Pittsburgh, Pa., a member company of American International Group Inc., launched “PrivateRisk Protector,” a new management and professional liability portfolio of coverages designed to address the broad spectrum of exposures to the financial health of private companies. With PrivateRisk Protector, businesses may choose one or more of six coverages, including directors and officers, private company, employment practices, pension trust, fidelity and crime, employed lawyers professional, and Internet media, and combine them into a single efficient program based on their unique risk profiles. PrivateRisk Protector users automatically receive “EPL Pak Premier,” a package of products and services that address proper workplace training and practices.
Dollars:
Limits (depending on risk profile) for D&O, PTL, EPL and Crime all go up to $5 million each; Internet media liability goes up to $1 million; and employed lawyers goes up to $2.5 million. Deductibles (depending on risk profile) can be as low as $2,500 for D&O and EPL. Deductibles for fidelity and crime start at $1,000; employed lawyers (depending on number of lawyers covered) is also $1,000; and Internet media is $25,000.
