GE Reinsurance Corp. has formed an auto segment based at the company’s Lincolnshire, Ill., headquarters, which will be headed up by Kenneth Anderson, who joins GE Re from GE Capital Auto Financial Services. No further details of the venture were released. GE Reinsurance Corp. is a sister company of ERC, the fourth largest reinsurance company in the world, and a GE Capital company. GE Capital is a subsidiary of General Electric Co., and reports assets of more than $345 billion.
