Timberline Insurance Services Inc. is now operating as Guaranty Insurance Services Inc. The company said the name change reflects its long-standing affiliation with the Guaranty Financial Services group within Temple-Inland Inc. Founded in 1957, Austin-based Guaranty Insurance Services (formerly Timberline) is one of the largest insurance agencies in Texas. Outside of Austin, the agency has offices in the Houston, Dallas, Fort Worth, San Antonio and El Paso metropolitan areas. Other former Timberline entities now operating under the Guaranty banner include: Timberline Insurance Managers, Inc., now Guaranty Insurance Managers, Inc., and Timberline Associates, Inc., re-named Guaranty Associates, Inc.
