Senior members of the nation’s insurance industry will meet in San Francisco Friday, May 3, to celebrate the Insurance Industry Charitable Fund (IICF), its annual campaign to distribute more than $1 million to a variety of charitable causes, to name its annual “Community Hero Award” recipients and to honor Lloyd’s of London and its Chairman of the Board, Saxon Riley, for their long history of charitable support in both England and the U.S. Since its inception in 1994, the IICF’s annual donations have grown from $100,000 to $1.5 million.
