Oklahoma Insurance Commissioner Carroll Fisher reinstated the license of a Tulsa insurance agent accused of improper marketing after agreeing to changes in his promotional materials. Fisher had suspended the license of Gary Kroll after it was found he had marketed credit life insurance in a way that made some people think he represented lending firms, not insurance companies. In addition, Kroll failed to respond to representatives of the Oklahoma Insurance Department when they attempted to contact him on the matter. Under the order reinstating his license, Kroll agreed to submit marketing materials to the OID and pay a $10,000 fine.
