Maintaining existing markets and finding new ones, especially in coastal areas, is the Alabama Independent Insurance Agents most important 2006 goal, according to Victor McCarley, AIIA executive director.
“We will conduct new sales education coursework in 2006 and provide education-related to flood insurance and disaster preparedness,” McCarley said.
AIIA’s most important accomplishment in 2005 was assisting members with services and answers to problems. McCarley said this challenged AIIA and its sister associations along the Gulf coast after several major hurricanes.
McCarley said another noteworthy accomplishment was completing and moving into a new building, which had a tremendous impact on what AIIA has done with its education program.
