Vanguard Fire & Casualty Company, of Winter Park, Fla., has promoted Sidney Bright to the position of chief underwriting officer. His responsibilities include managing the insurance company’s underwriters and customer service representatives, as well as overseeing the servicing of policyholders and independent insurance agents. He will also have an increased role in managing the day-to-day operations of the company.
