Chubb has appointed Ana Robic to chief operating officer, North America Personal Risk Services. In her new role, she will be responsible for strategies and activities relating to profitable growth for Chubb’s high-net-worth personal insurance division, including sales and distribution, underwriting and product strategies, underwriting centers, and risk consulting.

Robic has more than 17 years of insurance experience in commercial underwriting and management, and during the course of her career, has served in a number of positions of increasing responsibilities in Canada. She most recently served as executive vice president, Canadian region manager, Commercial Insurance. She will be based in Whitehouse Station, N.J., and will report to Fran O’Brien, senior vice president, Chubb Group, Division president, North America Personal Risk Services.

Robic succeeds C. Scott Gunter, who, as previously reported by Insurance Journal, will serve as senior vice president, Chubb Group, Division president, North America Commercial Insurance.

Surplus lines wholesale brokerage tKg has hired Mark Walker to serve as vice president and broker in the company’s P&C Eastern division, based in Charlotte, N.C.

Walker has more than 22 years of experience helping retail agents and brokers place challenging casualty risks in North Carolina. Prior to accepting his new role at tKg, Walker served as executive vice president at Peachtree Special Risk Brokers, where he established and fueled the profitable growth of a new office in Charlotte.

In this position, Walker plans to cultivate relationships and drive expansion in the Southeast, with a special focus on casualty and transportation coverage.

tKg Wholesale Brokerage is an independent brokerage in the surplus lines wholesale industry. Founded in 2004, the organization’s expertise includes professional liability, casualty, workers’ compensation, transportation and small business.

SUNZ Holdings of Bradenton, Fla., has appointed Michael W. Grandstaff to the position of chief financial officer and executive vice president of SUNZ Holdings and chief financial officer of SUNZ Insurance Co.

Grandstaff will report directly to Steven F. Herrig, CEO and chairman of the board. In his new position, Grandstaff will be responsible for overseeing the financial reporting and accounting operations for SUNZ Insurance Co. He will also play an important part in setting strategic direction and development of the holding company’s affiliates.

Before joining SUNZ, Grandstaff held positions with several insurance carriers and was employed by several national accounting firms. Most recently, he was an executive vice president for a workers’ compensation insurance service provider.

Grandstaff has been responsible for organizational strategy, GAAP and statutory accounting and financial reporting, actuarial reserving and financial planning and analysis throughout his 34-year career.

SUNZ Holdings, the parent company to five subsidiaries, is owned by Herrig. SUNZ Insurance Co. and SUNZ Insurance Solutions, the initial companies held by the holding company, were founded specifically to provide workers’ compensation options for professional employer organizations, staffing companies and large self-insured employers.

Kandie Landers, owner of Brightway, The Landers Agency in Glendale, Colo., is expanding to become a multi-unit owner with Brightway Insurance with the opening of her second agency in South Florida this spring.

Landers’ first agency in Glendale, Colo., opened in July 2016. Landers will make the eighth agency owner in the Brightway system to own more than one location, joining these Brightway multi-unit owners:
