Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA), headquartered in White Plains, New York, appointed Adam Balentine as President of National Business Insurance. Based in Kansas City, Balentine has previously served as national director of commercial lines growth and strategy at Risk Strategies Company.

Bill Hazelton
Bill Hazelton

Chubb, headquartered in New York City, named Bill Hazelton as chief operating officer for North America Field Operations. Hazelton will oversee the delivery of Chubb’s full portfolio of personal and commercial insurance products and services and assist in the day-to-day management of North America field operations.

Everest Group Ltd., headquartered in Hamilton, Bermuda, appointed Gary Haase as executive vice president (EVP) and CEO of legacy operations. Previously, he was EVP and chief operating officer (COO) at CNA Financial Corporation.

Hub International Limited (HUB), headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, appointed Andrew Forchelli, president and CEO of HUB California, to HUB’s executive management team. Forchelli joined HUB through the acquisition of GNW Evergreen, managing the GNW operation in addition to the solo HUB legacy office in Los Angeles.

ReSource Pro, headquartered in New York City, appointed Rob Marinello as senior director of partnerships and advisory. Marinello has over two decades of experience, including roles at Ivans, a division of Applied Systems.

Elias Habayeb

Everest Group Ltd., headquartered in Hamilton, Bermuda, appointed Elias Habayeb as executive vice president and group chief financial officer, effective May 2026. Habayeb succeeds Mark Kociancic, who is retiring after five years of service.

East

Chris Ornce
Chris Ornce

XPT Specialty also appointed Chris Ornce as a senior vice president in its workers’ compensation division. With over 15 years in the industry, Ornce most recently served as the head of agency distribution at Ten Four Truck Insurance and previously spent several years on the wholesale side at RT Specialty.

XPT Specialty also hired Joseph Corrado as a personal lines insurance broker. Corrado has experience in portfolio oversight, agency partnerships and the Northeastern U.S. insurance landscape.

SageSure, headquartered in Jersey City, New Jersey, appointed John Sence as chief sales officer. Sence spent 14 years in the independent agency system, joining SageSure from the Cincinnati Insurance Companies.

Donegal Insurance Group, headquartered in Marietta, Pennsylvania, promoted Josh Mussmon to vice president of marketing operations. Mussmon succeeds Bill Anderson, who retires in January as senior vice president of marketing operations.

Midwest

The McGowan Companies, headquartered in Fairview Park, Ohio, appointed Lauren Pitonyak as vice president of national programs. She joins from Gallagher Affinity, where she served as an account executive.

Encova Insurance, headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, named Corey Palumbo to its board of directors. Palumbo is an attorney with Bowles Rice in Charleston, West Virginia, serving in the West Virginia House of Delegates from 2003 to 2008 and in the West Virginia Senate from 2009 to 2020.

South Central

Brett Flagg
Brett Flagg

Brett Flagg, of Frisco, Texas, has been reappointed to the Texas Mutual Insurance Company board of directors by Gov. Greg Abbott. His board term for Texas Mutual–a policyholder-owned company and the state’s leading provider of workers’ compensation insurance–is set to expire on July 1, 2031. Flagg is an attorney and owner of Flagg Law Group, PC and has been a practicing attorney in Texas for more than 35 years.

Southeast

Boston Mutual Life Insurance Company, headquartered in Canton, Massachusetts, appointed Glenn Capps Jr. as regional sales director for Tennessee and Kentucky within its distribution department.

SandStone Insurance Partners, headquartered in Clearwater, Florida, hired Rhonda Waskie as senior account executive on the commercial lines team. Waskie joins SandStone from USI Insurance Services, where she served as a senior account executive.

West

Luke Williams joined Alliant Insurance Services, headquartered in Irvine, California, as senior vice president within its employee benefits group. Based in Maine, Williams has over 20 years of experience, most recently serving as an employee benefits practice leader with USI Insurance Services.

RT Specialty, the wholesale brokerage division of Ryan Specialty, headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, named Amber Carver as president. Carver, based in Salt Lake City, Utah, has over 25 years of experience, most recently serving as vice president and associate managing director at Burns & Wilcox.
