The Maryland Insurance Administration has unveiled its new website at www.mdinsurance.state.md.us. The more comprehensive site includes downloadable publications and bulletins, consumer complaint information, consumer outreach schedules, detailed information about the agency and its staff, instructions on filing a Public Information Act request for access to the Insurance Administration’s public records, new links and other information.
Subsequent phases of the site enhancement project will be especially beneficial to insurers and agents. These additions will include various company and agent forms available online, online filing of premium tax information and public access to the Administration’s licensing, regulatory enforcement and consumer complaint databases.
