State National Expands Into Maine

State National Insurance Company has been granted permission by Maine authorities to write fire, allied lines, commercial multi-peril, inland marine, other liability, products liability, auto liability, auto physical damage and glass. Following last year’s licensing in Connecticut, Maine becomes the second New England state in the company’s 47 state authority.

State National Companies is a privately held group of insurance companies and agencies with over $500 million in annual written premiums. Its affiliates include State National Insurance Company, State National Specialty Insurance Company, and State and County Mutual Fire Insurance Company.
