Insurance professionals can now keep up with industry developments, receive professional training and business education without ever setting foot in a real classroom, by logging on to The Hartford School of Insurance e-Campus, the company’s new Internet education service.
The e-Campus – located at: www.hsie-campus.com – contains comprehensive professional training and educational offerings tailored specifically to each user’s needs. It offers continuing education courses and online testing in state jurisdictions that have approved this process, as well as making available books, videos, articles and publications for insurance, technology, general business and management leadership.
According to Hartford’s Carolyn Lombardi, manager, operations and sales, “Agents say its hard enough just keeping up with business, let alone professional development.” The insurer, therefore built on its Hartford School of Insurance classroom curriculum to expand educational opportunities to the Internet.
