Harleysville Insurance has been named one of the “Best Places to Work in Pennsylvania” for the second consecutive year in a survey conducted by the state government that counts employee responses as 75 percent of the overall weight for evaluation.
Harleysville, which in addition to its headquarters, has branch offices in Murrysville and Harrisburg, employs more than 1100 people in the Keystone State, and is ranked as Pennsylvania’s 42nd largest company. It does business in 32 states, and markets property/casualty insurance for business and individuals through nearly 2100 independent insurance agencies.
In accepting the award, Catherine B.
