International broker and risk manager Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. announced that it has completed the acquisition of Life Plans Unlimited, Inc. of Fairfield, Connecticut and Tom Sherwin Insurance Agency of Haddonfield, New Jersey. Terms of the transactions were not disclosed.
The announcement stated that “Life Plans Unlimited, Inc. is a wholesale life insurance broker which specializes in marketing individual life insurance, annuities and long term care coverage for independent brokers.” It added that the current staff will continue to operate in their present offices,”under the direction of Michael Flynn, Area Chairman of Flynn Associates, a division of Gallagher Benefit Services.”
Regarding the Tom Sherwin Insurance Agency, Gallagher indicated that it was founded in 1980, and “offers risk management and property/casualty products and services to their clients.” It added that “While they specialize in commercial accounts, they also provide a full range of personal lines products. Tom Sherman and his staff will relocate to Gallagher’s Hammonton, New Jersey office which operates under the direction of John Stancik, Gallagher’s Northeast Regional Manager.”|”gallagher, acquires, conn.,, nj, brokers
