The Insurance Brokers’ Association of the State of New York announced that its annual meeting and spring reception will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2003 at Bridgewaters in the South Street Seaport, 11 Fulton St., New York, N.Y.
The IABNY has held the event for the past 105 years. It will feature a Pre-reception program between 4:30-5:30 p.m. and a Cocktail reception from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
Prior to the reception, Kevin Rampe, acting president of the Lower Manhattan Development Corp., will discuss current downtown revitalization efforts including the World Trade Center site. Peter Molinaro, senior deputy superintendent of insurance for the New York State Department of Insurance, will discuss NYSID’s newly established Manhattan Captives Bureau and its efforts to ease the current hard market through creative use of captives.
