The Council of Insurance Brokers of Greater New York will host a general membership meeting at Douglaston Manor, 63-20 Commonwealth Blvd. and Marathon Parkway, on Thursday, Sept. 25, 2003, starting at 5 p.m.
The event includes dinner and a panel discussion, and is for members only.
Participants will learn from a panel of regional company executives how to obtain the right coverage at the best rates for their clients. Panelists will explain underwriting philosophy; coverage issues in today’s market, and offer suggestions on how to use the information and answer questions. The program has been submitted for continuing education credit.
“Prior to the dinner and program, CIBGNY members are invited to take part in the annual membership meeting, where they can cast their vote for the nominees to the board of directors,” said the announcement.
Persons interested, including potential sponsors should contact Kristi Carr at (877) 224-2469, ext. 308. The event is $50 if received by Sept. 23; $60 if received afterward or at the door.
