The Professional Insurance Agents of New York State Inc., in conjunction with the Professional Insurance Wholesalers Association of New York State Inc., announced that an updated online specialty markets directory is now available to their members.
“This member-only benefit provides markets for New York state risks written through wholesale members of PIWA, as well as helpful information for retail producers to assist them in complying with the regulations that govern the excess line marketplace. This service allows PIANY members to search the database by risk or wholesaler,” said the bulletin.
“This is a great expansion of last year’s directory, in which only the top 100 markets were listed,” stated PIANY president T.J. Derella. “With the insurance industry’s fluctuating market cycles, this directory is a ‘must have’ for independent insurance agents and brokers.”
The announcement noted that the directory can be accessed through PIANY’s award-winning Web site: (www.piaonline.org/NY) or by accessing RC10004 through Quick-Link.
