David L. Schaefer, principal and vice president of Virginia-based Armfield, Harrison & Thomas (AH&T) was recently elected as chairman of TechAssure Association Inc.
In his role as chairman, Schaefer will work directly with all TechAssure committee chairs and strategic alliances to ensure that the association’s goals and objectives are reached.
Schaefer is the practice leader and founder of AH&T’s Technology and Management Liability practice groups, a large independent technology insurance and risk management consulting practices in the U.S. He is a graduate of Wittenberg University and holds degrees in Business Administration and Political Science/Pre-Law. Previous employers include McDonnell Douglas Corporation and a U.S. Congressman. Schaefer is a graduate of the USF&G School of Insurance and has obtained the designations of Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter and the Professional Underwriters Liability Society’s Registered Professional Liability Underwriter, a designation held by fewer than 1,000 individuals in the world.
