The PMA Insurance Group announced that Tony Steinauer has been promoted to branch viceprresident in the firm’s Hunt Valley, Maryland office. Steinauer is responsible for overseeing PMA’s Maryland, Washington, DC and northern Virginia operations, managing the agency distribution network and growing PMA’s market presence in this region of the country.
The PMA Insurance Group is a property and casualty insurer specializing in workers’ compensation and group disability insurance for mid- and large size employers.
Steinauer joined The PMA Insurance Group in 1998. Previously, he was an assistant vice president of PMA’s commercial markets underwriting operation. He began his insurance career in 1986 with USF&G, where he held positions of increasing responsibility during his 12-year tenure.
With 17 offices from New York to Florida, The PMA Insurance Group is headquartered outside of Philadelphia in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania.
