OneBeacon Insurance, a wholly owned subsidiary of White Mountains Insurance Group, Ltd, announced that Matt Mueller has joined the company to lead its high-tech commercial insurance business.
Mueller comes to OneBeacon from Chubb, where he led that firm’s technology business for the Central states.
With 24 years of experience in the business, Mueller is a frequent public speaker on the topics of Internet liability, technology E&O, and intellectual property.
Mueller’s charge is to partner with OneBeacon’s agencies to build a profitable book of technology business in the key high-tech markets throughout the U.S.
“We are thrilled to have Matt as a partner, as he is considered one of the top insurance specialists for high-tech business,” said Drew Carnase, who oversees Commercial Middle Markets for OneBeacon. “With his knowledge and the respect he carries in the industry, he is the ideal person to build off our existing strategy and take our technology business to the next level.”
