W. R. Berkley Corp. reported the appointment of Carol Adams as executive vice president and chief operating officer of Berkley Accident and Health LLC.
Adams’ principal focus will be the growth and development of Berkley A&H’s accident and health business through multiple distribution channels, strategic partnerships and product diversification, and she will assist in leading all aspects of its insurance operations. Based in New Jersey, Berkley A&H will write accident and health insurance and reinsurance on behalf of W. R. Berkley Corp.’s insurance company subsidiaries.
Adams most recently served as senior vice president and chief underwriting officer of the accident and health division of ACE USA. She has more than 16 years of experience in the life, accident and health insurance industry.
