The Hanover Insurance Group (The Hanover) today announced that Scott Shader has been named vice president, commercial lines business development. In this role, Shader will have broad management responsibilities for field and home office teams that are focused on commercial lines’ production initiatives; in particular, small account and specialty business development.
Shader joins The Hanover from the Willis Group, where he led the small commercial initiative. Prior to joining Willis, Shader was field operations officer for The St. Paul Travelers’ Select/Small Business Unit, responsible for the merger integration of the St. Paul and Travelers field operating platforms.
