National Atlantic Holdings Corp. today confirmed that preliminary discussions with The Commerce Group, Inc. regarding a potential business combination or other strategic transaction have been terminated by mutual agreement of the parties.
National Atlantic Holdings Corp.and its subsidiaries provide property and casualty insurance and insurance-related services to individuals, families and businesses in New Jersey.
The Commerce Group, Inc. and its subsidiaries provide personal and commercial property and casualty insurance in Massachusetts and, to a lesser extent, in other states.
