If Massachusetts consumers let this proposal go forward it will undermine their
self-interests. Ever miss a credit card payment just to have your auto insurance rates go up? What will the credit parameters be? Also, city dwellers will be slammed with super-high rates: If not now then later. I have absolutely no sympathy for bad drivers but we don’t want their premiums to be so high that they don’t carry insurance at all!
Let’s get the message to the consumer: This plan is not good for them. As the old saying goes “Be careful what you wish for.”

The Commissioner is determined to get this through. Agents and consumers better get through to the Governor and their Reps immediately that this isn’t good for the consumer.

I’ve never seen anything like the inhabitants of Mass. Oh, how they would have loved living in the old USSR. Yup, not enough communist economic policies in the Commonwealth!! Anything to prevent one from taking responsibility for their lives!!

Thats funny you compare their system to communism, becasue I am a NY liberal, and I actually agree completely, its very bizarre.

How did it ever ge this way in Mass?
