Independent insurance agents in Delaware, Maryland and Pennsylvania now have access to a five-component, Web-based resource created to simplify agency management.
The HR Solution includes an audit survey, employee handbook template, administrative and compliance guidelines, administrative forms and on-call consultation service.
A trade association serving agents in those states, Insurance Agents & Brokers (IA&B), launched the new member benefit, dubbed the HR Solution, in January.
According to IA&B, the resources are customized to the insurance industry and incorporate the latest stipulations on background checks, security information and safeguards.
“The products and services are a direct reflection of agents’ needs,” said G. Kevin Nemith, president of the IA&B Service Group. “Our members’ input was critical to the customized direction we took.”
He said the HR Solution addresses compliance on state and federal levels, “which are areas many busy agents have trouble keeping tabs on.”
The HR Solution is a benefit of IA&B membership. IA&B is affiliated with the National Association of Professional Insurance Agents in all three states and with the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America in Delaware and Pennsylvania.
