New Hampshire public health officials are beginning a series of Town Hall meetings around the state on underage drinking.
The meetings will be held in 15 communities, beginning Thursday evening at Goffstown High School.
They are sponsored by the Interagency Coordinating Committee on the Prevention of Underage Drinking. It’s a group of federal agencies who want to increase public understanding and awareness of underage drinking and its consequences. The sponsors say communities can use the meetings to discuss the impact of underage drinking on families and the community and to talk about ways to fight it.
