CMIC, a doctor-owned medical malpractice insurer serving Connecticut and Massachusetts, has named Wendy S. Barclay to fill the new position of communications specialist.
Barclay is responsible for CMIC’s communications with policyholders, media outlets, government entities and the general public. She is also responsible for leading strategic brand management initiatives.
Barclay brings 12 years of marketing and communications experience to her new position at CMIC. Prior to joining CMIC, Barclay served as director of marketing, creative and communications at ZC Sterling Corp., a mortgage insurance provider. She also held marketing and brand management positions at Steve Boyle & Associates and the Chamber of Commerce in St. Cloud, Minn.
