Valiant Names Bossart Chief Claims Officer

New York-based Valiant Insurance Group Inc. has named Jeffrey H. Bossart senior vice president and chief claims officer.

Bossart most recently served as regional head of claims for property and specialty lines of business at XL Insurance, part of XL Capital Group. Prior to XL America, Bossart served as senior vice president of claims for Kemper Pro, CNA and the Continental Insurance Co.

He began his insurance career with Allstate in the San Diego region and joined American International Group Inc. in 1983 where he worked for six years before operating a TPA in Southern California.
