The murder trial of a Waltham, Massachusetts, man accused of hiring a hit man to kill his estranged wife’s boyfriend is scheduled to start next week.
James Brescia is accused of hiring ex-convict Scott Foxworth to murder his wife’s boyfriend, insurance agent Edward Schiller of Framingham.
Prosecutors say Brescia paid Foxworth $10,000 to kill Schiller. The insurance agent was found shot at point-blank range, in his car, in a parking garage near his work in Newton in January 2006.
